I'm not buying the evo x.

Why?

1. It's no guarantee it's going to be an excellent modable car.
2. I don't want to get back into yet another car note.
3. Whatever it can do, I'm sure I can make my car just as fast and close to the handling.
4. I'm hoping that the older gen evos will be classics.

It seems like way too many Evo 8/9 owners have fragile egos.
I read the same negative comments and sad rationalizations about the Evo X everyday. You guys already own an amazing car, a part of automotive history. Be proud of what you have.

Drive By Wire, Dual clutch trans & other modification unfriendly gadgetry, not to mention the apparent lean towards the luxury market are what have me straying away from the X...i guess time will tell

it's the end of the Evo legacy.. it should not be called an 'Evo', neither a 'X'.

Rather start a new colony of Mitsubishi's which will have to build the history and the worldwide community of the Mitsubishi Evolution.

The King has died, long live the king!

My Opinion!

For the same reasons I stopped buying mustangs, they stopped using the legendary 302ci 5.0 liter and went to a high tech overhead cam mod motor. The 4g63t was tested. And the eurocar styling. But if this motor came out super stout like the say the 2jz Id buy one. But it wont cause its aluminum.

Carboy.. I've gone thru your 8 newbie post and check what i found:

In your reply of the EvoX's 1.4mile calculator, u replied:
'Does that calculator count in the new suspension or the fact that the drive train might be more efficient. Or the fact that the car will be able to shift faster than any human could possibly shift.'

In reply of the EvoX not having a manual clutch, you replied:
'your an asshat, the new evo does have a clutch, in fact is has 2x more clutches than a standard wackass manual'

In reply of which is better, you little lollypop sucking kid, you replied:
'bull****, thats like saying a Mk3 supra is more of a classic than a Mk4. Sorry but stop ***cing wishing. If the EVO X was the last of the Evos, than it would be the classic. Its all a matter of whats the last model to end its production. On top of that you have no idea how good the EVO x will be, most likely it will rape the 03-06's, considering the whole purpose of building an new evo is to improve over the last.'

In reply of the Evo9 depreciating, this is real funny, coz Evo8's in this area keep 80% of the new value and Evo7's are in high demand:
'oh really good, i hope your happy with your evo ix because if you decide to trade in, expect an assramming depreciation rate.'

Another smart reply, who's faster.. who'll kick the other one's a**... you little kid...:
'dude. your a ***cing dumb****, hate evo x than, it'll **** on your car regardless'

Check this reply, Duhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Are you being smart or wat? You are actually explaining to us what a 2step control is!! What a waste of space you are!:
'Most likely it will have launch control, so instead of revving in neutral and than dumping the clutch it would be more like holding down the brake than holding down the gas and than releasing the brake.'

So Carboy, you really think we're all dchbags ricers here.. Show us wat you got, or you still driving your papi's hyundai? That's what u wrote:
'i know i'm the minority but i hope the evo x will be more expensive, it'll be more exclusive that way, and less douchebag ricers driving them as well'

So tell me Carboy, out of the 8posts you wasted our lives to read, give me one that really made you feel up high in this community to let you post such a stupid comment, reflecting nothing but the scum you represent..

However, I am pretty sure your Mum missed on her bcp's that night, or the village you come from didnt have them thru their pharmacy shacks, out in there in the wilderness.. She should've had you wasted by the 'next day pill' thru the WC..

Next time do post wisely.. Wat a morning a$$ pimple u r!

Lookslike...., the EvoX has EVERYTHING different from the previous Evo's.. Almost nothing in common.. Mitsu's trying to explain to us it's getting along with a new strategy considering the competition around.

I'm not saying it's good, I'm not saying it's bad.. I'm stating that it's going to be different and might end up with one eventually!
