I think if the New GSx comes out the Evolution will be discontinued

Mitsubishi didnt really make to much money on the Evo x's

I really dont think they will come out with an XI IMO, seeing there are still 08 X's for sale brand new lol

If they go direct injection it won't be cheep to upgrade power anymore. They are not going to waist money giving the injection system excess capacity. I assume those calling for it do not plan to mod their cars.

Seems like car companies arent too concerned with the enthusiast needs/wants period. How can they do this to the Evolution name?!

I was real upset when Audi stopped their biturbo B5 S4 engine and produced the V8 4.2 that you cant push **** out of and that REALLY pushed me to leave the Audi scene, which I did. Now my evo?

2.7tt is amazing. thats actually how i got into cars. the 4.2 was really a down grade for the 'modding' enthusiasts. but can see people enjoying the 4.2 more since its nice NA power and not having to worry about your ko3 blowing. but hey, at least audi didnt make a 4.2 hybrid

I don't know if it's true or not, but I was told by Concord Mitsu that there would be no new Evo until 2012, and that it would be completely different. Anyone else hear of this?
