^ Wow I was saying the same thing, I'd rather have no Evo than this POS, the Evo just means to much to me, make Lancer Hybrid or something and kill of the EVO that would make me feel better.

HAHAHAH, nice photochop by Best Car mag. They just chopped three cars to make that beast. I sure hope this crap aint happening. Mazda has already dropped the Nagare styling cuz the big wigs think it looks like crap on production models.

it looks like X to the Z xzibit went to mitsubishi to PIMP THEY RIDE.... Mitsu can now pop their collar, and while they are popping the collar, they should pop a cap in the dude who designed this.

styling looks like a mash up of Evo\hatchback STI and a A4. Electric motors have tons of TQ and instant power. It could be good, however i have not heard about a hybrid lamborgini or corvette.

The Evo was designed and built to win grp A international rally. That's the only reason why it exist and why it was the greatest car sold to the public. Without the rigors of factory team racing development there is no reason to believe there will ever be another Evo worth buying from Mitsubishi. Face it guys we are passed the peak of internal combustion engineering.

I like it, as long as it doesn't look like every other model, i'm down. Its the only reason i'm not interested in a X atm. I mean, i don't want to buy an evo and then finding myself driving out of the stealership lot in an outlander.

So is Ferrari. KERS system, should be the only performance "hybrid" system IMO.

I don't like the concept image (too hatchback-looking), but I'm definitely fine with hybrid technology as long as it performs (Honda CR-Z = fail). So it needs:

-turbo
-AWD
-sedan
-dual-clutch at least as an option

Throw in some electric motor doo-dads and get 30 MPG while still getting good *** dyno results? Works for me.
