Evolution MR - Mitsubishi Racing [MERGED]
Argh! Those windows do not look tinted on the mitsu media press release! Are they going to offer us the factory tinted windows and cruise control...
I'm sure glad magazines are entirely fictional entertainment and not for any informational reasons at all. Jeeez.
YAHOOO.. Patience kids..

Many nay sayers and now they can go sulk.. Negativity is so childish...
Either way.. It also looks like they are fixing their model year mistake since it says the 2005 is going to be here this fall in 2004, like every other manufacturer.. woohoo! This is a win, win, win, win..
and a remaining possible win - Cruise and Tint

Bilstein Dampers??
I wonder why no mention of suspension in that press release. They can't give the ole' does not comply to US regulations for that one. I was looking forward to the improved handling AND ride quality.

Right, and your condescending attitude isn't childish?
On the other hand, this is pretty cool news. Now that the ACD is coming, I wonder if it's possible to swap out the entire xcase and front diff and replace it with the ACD unit (still no mention of a front LSD, though). Even if it is electronic, maybe it'll help get rid of all these xcase problems that have been occuring...

That's not really a press release
It would be something like this

After I see a press release like that then I will be heading to the dealership with my deposit

Ah, Thanks for the info Kavman.
Either way, I'm happy it's coming. I won't whine too much over what I don't get. I'm really exited just about the dark metallic gray color! Thats always been my fave color in cars, it'll give the crazy *** evo some class. Eh, but no one who wants an evo should be thinking about about class, more like internal organ damage from G force and acceleration.
I'm definently excited the MR is coming and that I've managed to be impatient this long

No Yaw control is okay with me, I just wanted the 6speed tranny. Now I need a beater till all the hoopla calms down at the dealersships. And just like before I am expecting dealers to price gouge, wouldn't surprise me if we see 5K-10K markups. I prolly won't have one in my hands till next year, its all good though.
Anybody knows if this is really Official from Cannonballer's thread. The mods should sticky that thread rather than lock

Buy a new car every year or wait till evo 9 which is probably ugly. The MR looks better and faster to me? You do what you gotta do i guess.
My only question is how does the 6-speed feel. I'm worried if the linkage is as sloppy as the STi. Personially I'd rather have an improved 5-speed.
