Quote: Basically, thats the list. With the DSM's there is a speed density harness that connects the MAP and IAT sensors to the Vehicle MAF plug, and the sensor signals are then intercepted at the ECU. The MAF plug for the EVO does not have a mating part available (yet), so the PnP harness is the easiest.

For boost control you need a harness and solenoid.

For the wideband stuff, you just connect the wires in the Pro to the wideband's analog output.

I won't need to utilize the boost or the 02 WB features, I run an HKS EBC and I already have a pretty good afr setting in the UTEC, not sure on how much better it can get . I might in time switch over to a different type of boost control but don't have the extra cash laying around as of right now.

It's not even remotely related.

so here is the big question, I talked to a AEM tuner in Cali and he recomends a Blowthough over speed density. Will it be more difficult to tune speed density or is the drivability just better with a Meter?

Well, if both styles are tuned properly, there would be virtually no difference in performance....... (right?)

I think is has more to do with supporting customers over the phone...... .

Joey, drop me a line when you get your stuff.

i'll let you know as soon as I get it. I ordered some intercooler piping as well from the site. I need to redo my upper IC pipe. Once I am done with that I can do the install.

Judging from comments on the fullthrottle board i don't think there will be a problem with Speed Density. The Speed Density on this unit works different than it would on an AEM. The MAFTpro will be converting the signal into Karman signal and will fill in any gaps I assume. I love messing with stuff like this, I can't wait to receive my stuff

Cool, then prepare yourself for lots of fun.

The Pro can be configured many different ways. We can set it up with both the MAF and the Speed Density stuff hooked up at the same time and you can switch back and forth, log differences, etc......

What GM MAF do you think you have?

How bad does the HKS SSQV blow off valve sound? I was thinking of just going fully VTA but I don't want an annoying car. Anyone have any suggestions for a quite VTA bov that can hold 30psi?

Ahh, I see now. It does all 3 things in one box, I thought that you had to either order speed density or blowthrough or the fuel mapper thing. Might make things a little easier.

I'd like to see some screen shots if at all possible, since it said can be configured with windows. Or is it the box with the lcd display?

I have one.. I switch between it and a Forge Valve.. I find the HKS to be a bit too annoying sounding for my taste.. Also it would occasionally cause compressor surge that I didn't get with the 1G valve I had on it..

The Pro can be configured and tuned from the LCD+Keypad, or the Windows interface.

PM me an email address, and I will generate some screenshots and/or send you some sample software......
