here's what i did. Its sort ofh ard to explain, but ill do my best.
first i built a patch harness that goes from the serial connector on the ECU + box and made that about 10" long.
pull the glovebox, and the access port to the ecu harness. Then pull the pin that holds the passenger side of the center console (shifter and ashtray area) i stuffed the box back there in the console, and cut out a little square hole in the console area and routed the patch harness that i made through there, and mounted the connector with a couple of screws.
i tried velcro, but it gets too hot inthe summer and the sticky wears off. Same thing with double sided tape.
I'll try to take some pics of my setup this weekend. It's a PITA to undo and redo.

I'm trying to install my ECU+ with patch harness tonight. How do you get all the wires above the ECU wire guard? With the patch on the ECU the bottom hangs almost to the floor. I tried folding the harness, but it feels like I'm placing a lot of stress on the ECU wires. Any help, pic, ideas would be great. Thanks.

I have to remove the black plastic wire cover(the removable piece) and release the main cable pack from one of the zip-tie-looking hook. If that makes any sense :P
Try not to put any stress on the cable assembly. Use zip-tie to hold everything up. I will take a picture and post it here when I get home if you want.
