I have ecuflash 1.29.906, which was the original version I used to pull my stock rom off my stock ecu so long ago, but now I cant pull my rom off either?? it recognizes my cable as the Mitsubishi 1.3 with the serial number so no problem there, although here is the starting log when I first open ecuflash

Hee is what I get when I try to read my rom

Nothing, the read from ecu is highlighted above like I can, but the window that comes up has the read button faded? you can see my cable is shown in the bottom right.

You're missing all the files in:
C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\read templates

Ok so I do have some files in that folder but dont know where to get the others. Did alot of searching in the ecuflash forums with no luck , Anyone know where to get these? Also I cant imagine this would stop me from being able to read my rom any ideas there?

The read templates should've been installed with EcuFlash. I might suggest re-installing.

SUCCESS!!!!!! ITS FIXED!!!!!!!!! I successfully pulled my rom, tomorrow I pull my evo rom yay!!!!!! The issue was exactly what senate said although didnt realize what he meant at the time, in the ecuflash options I noticed the metadata file was only accessing the lancer file for everything, I changed it to access the whole mitsubishi folder (since I have no scoobies) and moved the read templates folder into the mitsubishi folder and VIOLA!!!!

Senate rocks once again

Talking :)

thats crazy man, great job.. man, i'm gonna need major help from you when i get my little t25 into mines.. i'm looking around for a evo 8 ecu.. fr now my trany is all apart, i had to replace a few bearings, and hopefully soon i'll get it all together, just crazy busy with work.. winter time sucks if ur a painter at a professional body collision shop. i've got my manifold and the tubo, plus catless down pipe, full greddy catback exoust. and my t25 turbo, that i'm rebuilding, since its got a little shaft play..i know how to install everything, but i suck at tunning, i'm asking for some help.. let me know whats better to do.. i've got injectors.. it would probably be so much easier to use someones tune, and try to go from there, and mess with it a little, than tuning from stock huh?
