Another update for ya. Lifted the car just to check things out, hub is solid so I definately had a bent hub on the other assembly so I will call that officially fixed. I could see and feel some oil coming from the bottom of the turbo where my retun line connection connects to. the allen bolts seemed a little more loose than they should be. I believe this must have been why my oil was low when I changed it last. Tightned that up pretty sure that will fix that. I have been having some issues with my darn hose blowing off where it connects to the J-pipe. Anyone else that has full evo 9 piping connecting to an evo 8 turbo show me how they setup their's? The evo 8 has a bigger outlet on the end of the J-pipe than the 9 and so I had to make an adapter basically but it has blown off too many times now so I need an alternative fix.

I have evo 9 piping with an evo 8 turbo... I had the stock clamp with the screwdriver, I just took a one of those hex sockets and just tightened it really tight, and when my boost controller was working I was pushing 8-10 psi easily with no problems. what you could do is go to lowes and buy 2 clamps that would fit the Jpipe and just use a socket to tighten both down just in case if your worried that one of them might not hold. Just thought I would give my 2 sense

Actually not a bad idea at least for the meantime. Havent had a chance to do anymore tuning for awhile but its set pretty good right now.

So one question for you guys. Accel Enrichment is only concerned with that moment when you first stab the throttle correct? This does not apply through an entire pull if your WOT right?

im not sure I think roadspike left mine stock and I havent had any issues so far. What exactly do you plan on doing when tuning that? Does that control how much fuel is delivered while accelerating to a certain point?

Doesn't it just compensate for that initial "punch" when you smoosh on the gas? Like, less than 1/2 a second or so?

I am pretty positive it is but I never assume anything which is why I always ask.

Steven I am not messing with it. Awhile back I had changed it from whatever the stock tephra ROM was to .y stock lancer rim which seemed to help with me going way rich when I first stabbed the throttle. I just want to be sure as I am going to start more fuel tuning soon and wanted to be sure of all factors that can affect the afrs while wot

From my reading, most say "this is a misunderstood table" but compare it to an accelerator pump on a carburetor engine. I think the values should be what is in the lancer stock rom, but that's still a guess. Senate's probably the guy to ask...

Alright good news my idle is now SPOT ON. I have fixed my cold idle and my warm idle. No more 3k rpms cold starts and no more wierd 3k idle when a/c is on and engine is still cold. Also car purrs like a kitten at 750 rpms when warm .

Turns out I somehow how missed some settings in the idle settings. Steven go into your stock lancer rom and take every table in there and copy them over to the corresponding table in the evo rom, The evo rom has more tables but just worry about the ones your lancer rom has. As soon as I did this it fixed everything

sounds like every table "in the idle section" is what he meant to say.
