Id get a new bearing personally from the dealer. 03 got his online but that part has failed me 2x already so I dont trust any of them. Lightweight flywheel is fun and cuts your downtime if youur doing the clutch as you dont have to deal with going to get the stock resurfaced while the car is apart. Expensive but worth it.

well i think ill just keep the stock flywheel. i take it to just any machine shop or what i havent ever had anything resurfaced.

on another topic: my mbc is ball in spring. if it is so tight as to act as if i had capped the wastegate actuator.... like no air going to the wastegate at all... would this be the same as venting the wastegate actuator to the air??

this is the forge internal btw im just not getting any boost and i have no leaks anywhere.

could really use some suggestions here....

i have checked all this and everything checks out fine:

wastegate actuator eyebolt tight as possible
wasegate actuator gasket
boost leak check
inspect manifold and turbo for cracks
tried 2 different boost controllers
bov holds boost fine
spark plug check
try full range of mbc adjustabilities
made sure mbc and actuator was working properly with air comp

probly checked more then is listed.

i have wanted to up the boost from 6 to 8 psi.
before i installed new injectors and evo maf i was able to get there with the mbc adustment. but now it wont effect it at all.... i can use the mbc to rangefrom 4-6psi tho.

Did you buy your wga new or used? Maybe the spring is old and weaker than normal.

If you were at 6psi, then there is no way you should be able to go between 4 and 6 with the mbc inline. At the very least, you should still see 6psi, but typically you'll see more, maybe 7psi even with the mbc all the way down. If you see 4psi, somethings wrong I think.

Also, after about a year, my spring loosened up, and I had to tighten my eyelet on the WGA arm to get it snug again so I could hold steady pressure.

hahaha holy freaken cow.

so i tried a different spring that i had laying around i think its an 18 lb spring for the forge...

and i figures well ill just let off the gas....

but then with that spring in i was seeing no difference on the guage!! and i even kept adjusting the mbc with no increase!! but it did feel like more.....

so i got out and unplugged the boost guage from where i had it t'ed into and just pulled one of the small vac lines where the vaccuum regulator thing that red circular thing used to be and plugged in there...

gave it another shot and went to like 15 lol lol lol and thats when i let off the gas..

haha well at least i think i was at those levels..

the problem is my whole evap emissions system is messed up somehow.

since that U tubing on the manifold goes directing to the evap canister and i have the evap solenoid un plugged that might of been causing the false reading....

if i have the evap solenoid plugged in i get a bouncy needle and about 10in of vac... so something is leaking or the other solenoid by the evap canister by the gas tank isnt working right. so i have a lot of the brass vaccuum tubes capped off at the moment.

so i could of been boosting up to 20psi today if my boost guage just wasnt reading right... like i said it was saying 6 but i could feel an increase in boost.

You really should just pick up a new one IMO like $100 investment to be safe.

I have started having a simialr issue. I have only been hitting 10 psi for awhile now and I have tried incremently upping the mbc with no change. I have turned it a good 12-14 clicks over the last few days with no change. Going to pull my mbc apart tomorrow but I also might change my spring out since I have the spring tuning set from forge,

Ive thought about t-ing into the brake booster line but meh idk. Mine doesnt feel like there is anymore power there still feels like 10 psi. I might toss a couple zip ties on the line just for a sec to see if that makes a difference
