Ok so upon further review I need one of these gaskets. I'm having a hard time finding one tho. New o2 sensor is ordered ($22 instead of $60 from autozone :/). So I'll definitely need to clock my turbo a bit to get a snugger fit on the o2 housing to downpipe. My v-band on my turbo looks old and rusted so I may order another just in case it breaks. Better safe than sorry. I also decided not to buy the second engine. I had to buy my brother some welding supplies for the project. I still need to finish up my return line, install my fuel pump, clock the turbo, tighten down t-bolts, and finish my exhaust up. Not a whole lot really. I can do my fuel pump in 20 minutes, I've done it before.

What manifold are you using? with an evo or speedcorpse manifold u shouldn't have to clock your turbo....also the evo turbo has a notch in the exhaust housing to align it at the right spot with the center housing so you would have to grind that off and if you grind the flange you may have an exhaust leak!

I didn't know there was a notch there. It's a custom manifold. Right now I'm looking at just buying another downpipe to skip the trouble. Currently I have a megan downpipe. I may just go with a skunk2 downpipe I seen on eBay. I think I'll do that and order it today. It's my mom's birthday today so I won't be working on the car until Monday. Currently I'm just waiting for parts to come in.

0.025" is what you want them gapped to. With this gap you wont have any missfire under boost but sometimes 1 or 2 at idle but nothing bad

I started with mine at .025, now I'm at .020. Seemed to eliminate my misfiring I was having

I appreciate the input guys well I decided not to buy the second engine. There's some things popping up with the build I wasn't expecting so I decided to hold off on the engine. I ordered the skunk2 downpipe pipe and I'm hoping it's here Wednesday. A shipping label was already made as soon as I get it I can get my exhaust finished up.

Well the turbo is hooked up but i just need to finish my oil return and hook up my coolant hoses to the turbo. The only problem was with my exhaust. That doughnut gasket and megan downpipe don't get along well. Lol just got my resonator with my flange welded up. Pics coming soon.

You have the turbo on the car but no oil/water lines bolted on it? you're going to swear when you're going to install those with the turbo in place!

Here's the resonator. I just need to add it to my catback when the downpipe comes in. My downpipe is 3" and my catback is 2.5" so I had to add a tapered section.

Well for such a short period of time I thought I accomplished a bit. My coolant line finally came in as well as a copper gasket I ordered. I ordered the gasket from the place Senate mentioned in the thread "new source for 4g9x flanges". The fit was excellent. I also got my return line finished. I put a radiator mount in for reference of the size of my return line. I've also decided to have my feed line go in front of my turbo. I can access the feed line fairly easy so I can prime the feed line without worrying. I have class tomorrow so I won't have anything new to update then. I'm hoping to get my downpipe Thursday or Friday so I can tune over the weekend. O, I also got my spark plugs in (bkr7e) and gapped between.020 and.025. I think Wednesday I'll be tightening down the intercooler stuff. I still need to install my fuel pump as well.

So my grounding(?) cable on my tactrix decided to break. :/ I think I can solder it back so I'll be doing that tonight.

Here's a tip if you ever have the same thing happen to you. Just take a car key and put it in near the cable here and give a gentle twist till it opens. You can use the key to keep it pryed open.

I'll have to solder this up after work. I'm glad there was enough wire left when I opened it to let me solder it up.

Ok so this is more for people who are going to boost that are still researching. You need to extend the o2 sensor wiring by cutting the harness on the car. DO NOT extend the sensor wiring. please solder it up for a secure connection.
