I'm not 100% sure on how to do it. I log afr with a zeintronix wideband. I know the zt-3 has a narrowband output from .1-.9 volts. You can wire that output into the ecu instead of the primary o2 sensor. At .5 volts it tells the ecu that it's at 14.7 stoich. The part I'm not sure on cause I haven't had to do it. I think you can have the zeintronix send a different voltage to make it either richer or leaner even in closed loop. But if that isn't it, you have to put a patch in from mrfred to be able to adjust it. I'll have to do a little more reading.

How come you guys are running an evo9 rom? Just curious. I'm running 94170015. But I did look and compare our values for open loop on load. We have some way different values in there.

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit but mod do you know any good places in pa to get a turbo manifold made for our car? I have the lancer flange but the manifold I have now sucks and I'm currently rebuilding my lancer. Using a gt2871r.

Evodreamer I had Chase from Motorsports Engineering do mine. I'll see if he's still doing custom builds. I haven't really talked to him much. If he's looking to build another manifold I'll pm you his phone number.

Update!!!!!! We cut my exhaust up and got the o2 housing and downpipe to sit more flush. I think part of the problem is one of the downpipe bolts. I ordered another and hope it comes in Monday. I also installed the 440 injectors! The car is still a bit lean at idle and cruising so I'm sure it's a closed loop problem. I did manage to do a few wot pulls and I'm getting gas at wot which is good and makes me think even more its a closed loop problem. It is a bit lean (12.5) at wot though. I'll have to get these injectors dialed in. Man this car hauls!!!!! Even at 5psi my brother was impressed!

Quick question. I feel like the car has a bit of lag in first gear when doing a wot pull. Do you guys experience it? My turbo kicks in able 3000 rpm but when it kicks in its awesome.

02,

We need a 512kb rom. That's why we're using the evo 9 rom. I think the evo 8 is 256k? I can't remember.

Marcauxa1 one. I did notice "lean spool" is enabled on your map. I've found a band aid fix for my lean issue at cruising. I've enabled my open loop from 2000-4000 rpm by setting it to %40. I just need to fix the lean at idle. If I can figure that out in sure the cruising will have no problems.

I got my fuel injector scaling done. I'm at 348. Next I need to get my latencys set. Any tips? I'm done doing any tuning today though. I did 3 runs to get my injector scaling. I'm within .5 afr of what my map says at wot

This is what you should do. Basically you'll use your scaling first to get you close to 0 then adjust the latency to bring the idle and cruise closer to 0. You might have to go back and forth a little to dial them in. As long as both numbers are pretty close to each other and you're +/- 5% you'll be good enough

I started with one of the methods in merlins tuning guide. I did a wot pull to get my injector scaling. I'm going to do my idle and cruise next. I'm still lean at idle and cruise though. I don't know how to richen those up except with adjusting idle latency. I'll get a good idle latency for those first.

I don't remember. Chase hooked me up with a awesome deal. Unfortunately my kit is a one of a kind. I was messing Chase early and he's out of the lancer business.

How lean are you running at idle and cruising? my cruising is at 14.6-15.6 which is perfect imo and my idle in open loop is at 14-15 and closed loop is at 16.4-16-8 +-!

Marcauxa1 I'm running at 18 afr at idle and cruise still. I'm going to try and mess with latencys today.
