I've also thought about a Dyno run. I'd really like to see what I'm running at after all my mods.

On a similar note. I'm about ready to start my own review thread. I need to up the idle a bit since it still jumps low. Stay tuned

Hey guys, I had my piggyback installed 2 days ago. I actually "upgraded" from the ver1. I was surprised that the wiring connections were exactly the same.

Anyhow, first the good news, Ver2 is quicker, more responsive, more powerful than ver1, hands down.

Second, the car runs great... until you stop. I'll try raising the idle a little more tomorrow.

Third, my CEL came on.

I will also redo the learning steps after I raise the Idle to see if it will solve the problem

Otherwise, the increase is VERY noticable...

i got CEL at first too, you just have to to the relearn thing and it should go away. hey Rock, I dont remember if we covered this or not, but could misfiring have anythingn to do with gas? I mean i started with a hlaf tank of 87 octane then topped it off with 93. Maybe if i completely run it out of gas then fill up on 89. just wondering cause I've been filling up with only 89 and 93 octane since i first got it.

seeing how all of the bugs are bieing worked out by you guys, I might try and get my hands on one. But will it be woth it for me if I don't have any knowledge of tuning an ecu? How hard is it exactly for a "newb" to install?

The install is sooo simple... I'm already on my 2nd piggyback! Believe me, eventhough there is a little bit of ruugh idle, you WILL notice the difference, especially when overtaking someone on the highway.

I used floor it before I actually had to in order to get some juices flowing, now, the car flys when I want it to...

I've gone from 65 to 85 in a blink of an eye, It's like a blur, I kid u not! This piggyback means business!

idle and CEL issues are being addressed. RRM will have that update for you as soon as the car is completed.

It's funny... the two cars RRM had never had any issues at all... even at idle. Then all the sudden bam. CEL and little rough idle. Don't worry though. The problem has been found and is in the correction process. As soon as RRM has the update you guys will be notified.

RRM= backs it's products 100%

Install is easy... as was stated.

Tuning knowledge is not needed as RRM pretunes the boxes and the car's ecu then learns to that new tune. Works wonders and you don't have to do anything but enjoy after install.

I going to spend all day doing another tune on the piggy. We have 2 running great but we finally got a CEL. Then 3 days later the CEL went out by itself! We know what CEL and why. It is no big deal. Running aheader now a days will cause a CEL so....... Regardless we are working to make it stay off. Stay tuned.

I was able to resolve my CEL when I first got the header months ago! I just extended the 2nd O2 sensor wires past the 2nd CAT... Viola! no more CEL because of the Header...

This CEL came on only when I installed the Piggyback2, mind you, I have already had my other listed mods on for months and no CEL.

This is a new CEL for me, I don't know if I'll have time to pull the codes tomorrow, I'll see what I can do...

I realize that. We already know Piggy caused its own CEL. Yes I am using your exact box in my car to resolve it. We are making progress. I won't ship it back till we got it.

So are you solving this by a new Map/Tune? Does this mean we need to ship our piggys back to get this fixed? Let us know, thanks!

No Offense Rock, but I still have my box installed & I am going to redo the learning cycle again tomorrow & hopefully that will get rid of the CEL. But if it doesn't or it comes back I will let you know the codes...

I think ur confusing me w/ drucea...
