Slow reading is either due to a faulting O2 sensor heater or due to some restriction causing the sensor to not get hot enough in the proper amount of time. This sometimes happens on turbo'd vehicles or cars that have precats in headers and they become clogged for some reason.

This code is not triggered by the piggyback though. The piggy's adjustments will not effect this circuit at all.

FYI guys, I redid the learning porion of the install instructions. The CEL went away for a full 15 minutes and came right back. I adjusted the RPMs to the point where the car idles @ 1000 RPM in park - very smooth, until I shift into drive and hold the brake, the rough idle returns.

How much RPM is too much RPM? Aren't we wasting more gas by raising the RPM's?

The car continues to run like a champ, especially on the highway, no complaints there...

Rock mentioned to raise idle by 200 RPMs. So if the stock idle was 500-700, then the adjusted idle should be 700-900 RPM. You don't want to raise it too high. I'm sure Boe will tell us why.

yes dont raise it to 1000. has anyone confirmed what this "rough idle" is. cause thats what mine felt like, ran fine on the highway too. if anyone could help out, could someone with the rough idle problem get it checked and make sure its not misfiring?

why keep asking for someone to check out the ruff idle... this is what RRM is doing!!

You guys have found an issue... RRM is correcting it as fast as possible. Asking members to figure it out or correct it is hopeless as it's in the programming itself. Once RRM has the fix they will post and take care of everyone.

Not to sound harsh but seeing post after post about the same problem that RRM is already taking action against is not helping the matter at all.

Just be patient... if you have the problem feel free to post you have it but know that RRM will get it resolved and corrected. No need to ask for help or post for others to figure it out... that will only cause more trouble. Leave the fix to the company responsible... after all that's one of the reason you buy from RRM, they back their work 100%!

Please no further posting about it if you've already posted your problem... feel free to ask if there's any update though.

no no i dont mean figure it out, we know the problem. I'm just saying that i had misfiring and no one else is, everyone else just said "rough idle", so i figure, maybe theres is misfiring, i just want to know if theres is maybe misfiring to so i know that im not the only one with that problem. i know rrm is working it out and i am fine with that. just wondering

PROBLEM IS SOLVED. We found a setup error in programming. Used DRUCEA's Box to do more tuning today. I want to recheck it on a automatic tomorrow but I am sure we found an issue that was causing rough idle, rough idle causing CEL. Guy that are still having problem can send the Piggy back to us and we can reprogram it. Make sure you include all pertinent info in a note with the piggy. SAVE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. New boxes will have this reprogram incorporated into it. Boxes that were shipped we be reprogrammed. Sorry for those of you that had an issue.

I haven't had a chance to check the codes to see if it is misfireing. I don't think it is, the car just feels as if it was suffocating, only while idleing in drive.

When I pull the codes I'll post, till then I know RRM will come thru...

Just a problem for the automatics? I've put over 500 miles on the PB with my manual and no problems, no CELs, just a big smile on my face.
