hmmm, actually mine does mention the vacuum line, I just thought we had to disregard that instruction, but there's another set of instructions or no?

It's a long story why I have one, but I got one.....lol.
... its worth it. trust me. those mods just make it that much more. put it on!

The instructions for the old are still applicable... only difference is the vacuum line.

Ensure you let the car sit at idle for at least 15 minutes... then drive it around nicely for about 100 miles before you start getting on it. The 04-05 ecu's do need to learn for a bit before the piggy takes full effect.

^^ What about for the 02-03s? Should we still allow 100 miles of easy driving?

Also, can we get a sure confirmation that the 02-03 piggys have shipped out?

02-03's should do the same just to be safe... usually though we've seen them learn within 50 miles.

The 02-03's have been shipped. I got an automated email from UPS 2 days ago and it's on a truck headed east. I can't wait to get it installed.

Looks like I'll be needing to call RRM then since I haven't received any notice/email about mine shipping out.

Ignore vacuum line part of the instructions. Wires are the same.

what is? if its about one POSSIBLY messing up, thats how it goes, and they told me to just mail it back and we'll get things figured out. I'm completely happy with that. as long as i get a good product and coming from rrm i'm sure everything will be fine.

occasionally a box goes out and it either didn't accept the programming or isn't working properly. That's electronics for you... hell in shipping it could have been tossed a few times. In the end RRM stands behind the product fully and asked him to ship it back for testing. A new one will be sent out to him if the box is proven bad... if it's good then we need to delve deeper into his install/car issues.

As for now it appears the box is a problem. So it's coming back. Other boxes have been installed and are working with no reported issues.
