here is a rough mspaint of what is to be done.

red is where the current hoses are.
blue is where you need to re-locate on of the hoses, or buy a small strip of new hose.
take the hose that comes from the engine into the TB and pull it out, then pull out the hose from the silver pipe that runs right below the TB, then plug the hose from the engine into the silver pipe. Then just throw away the unused piece of hose. Carefull you don't get coolant everywhere, and also keep some coolant hose spare incase one of them tears (this happened to me)
hope that helps

I did this mod yesterday, bad idea to try this in the winter time. Not that it's given me problems with starting and/or driving, but it's just so much harder to do in the cold. I'm guessing the hoses must've constricted or something, because I couldn't pull them off no matter how hard I tried. I ended up cutting them, which is no problem cause the hose running from the block to the throttle body is more than long enough even when cut down. It's a slight improvement, nothing to drool over but I'm hopeful that it will help make further intake mods more noticible. When the weather gets better, I'll continue work on perfecting my short ram and adding a heat shield and possibly some air ducting. I just need to get some better couplers for the pipe, cause the ones it came with get all deformed at operating temps(I have my suspicions as to weather they are really meant for automotive use). Also, a question on moving/repositioning the battery. Say I wanted to set it sideways, would I just rotate it 90 degrees on the stock tray, or would I have to alter the tray somehow. By the way when spring hits, I might try to design a tray that fits where the airbox used to be, and fabricate it from steel. It'd be heavy, but efftective.

I assume both of those plugged are the ones from the tb we are dealing with. when I look under the hood, hopefully it will be obvious where the hoses that are left go. thanx again.
