I bought a dry nitrous kit from nitrous outlet, it was the brand x dry kit for 305.00 shipped. Took two days for the install only because had to wait for my buddy to do the wiring. It's on a push button when i'm at full throttle... WORKS LIKE A ****ING CHAMP!!!! If your safe about it theres no problem. 75 shot is the highest you should go on a dry nitrous kit if you want more hp you should use a wet kit. If you have any questions just email me. If anybody wants video or pictures let me know so you can see the difference!!!!!
How much was the kit?im also thinkin about installing a 75 shot dry
No I wasn't blowing smoke, the nitrous does work and i went for the 75 shot and blew a piston twisted a rod and put a gaping hole in the block, all in all $1000 for used engine with 20,000 miles and install. say what ya want but hey at least i tried!
wouldn't recommend it
threads a couples years old as well, wouldn't expect the op to respond
Sorry to dig up a old thread but going to the track hopefully Friday, but won't be spraying unless my rrm trans cooler comes delivery date was supposed to be last week but when I look it still hasn't shipped. I have a wet kit with nx controller only running 35 shot from 3500rpms to 5500 rpms starting in 2nd gear to 6. If the CVT seems to hold up with the larger trans cooler I may work up to a 50shot. But I know the CVT won't handle any higher than that
. I'll do some NA runs and a couple spraying and post the slips. Here is other mods to the car, Car has Evo x cams obx header full exhaust Mopar valve springs modern performance crank and water pump pulleys with ac and ps delete. 63mm TB ultimate racing solid motor mounts and full mivec tuning.
