Okay i did the flash of the evo rom onto my lancer ecu, swapped my pins back around, and im using a rom that was made by a guy on the 3g forum. its similar to the stock 4g64 rom but a little richer. I took a few logs and i got as high as 17 knocks at 4100 or so rpm. I dont have a wideband yet, ill order one next weeked, but should i go ahead and retard the timing a bit, or could it make me run too lean?

It will not make you run lean, definately lower that timing bro before you break something!!!

okay i copied the eclipse fuel and igntion tables over and got it to a steady 0 count of knock. without a wideband, would it be okay to just use the lancer rom and copy all the eclipse settings over, and drive it like so.

maybe it would be easier to do it this way, so there wont be any unfilled values due to the larger tables and maps the evo rom has compared to the eclipse rom.
If anyone has a lancer rom, can you email it to matayde12325@hotmail.com

also i noticed the "open loop load 1 and 2" are different from the evo rom and eclipse rom, also the "open loop throttle high and low load" are different, should i copy these over also?

Yes. You will be better off running a Lancer ROM and copy all the tables from the Eclipse ROM in so you don't have to deal with the Eclipse's immobilizer.

so i used the lancer rom, ALL the settings i could, over to the lancer rom, and it runs okay. The idles is alot smoother, i had to plug in the egr solenoid but now i have NO CEL's yet. I wonder if that darn o2 sensor code will come back. So now i just need a wideband, so i can tune out the AFR right?

Also what box do i need to check in order to log my load, is it 1byteload on the lancer rom or is it ecuLoad?

1byte load is only for tephra mods use ecuload as its unlikely you'll go over 160 load points without turbo
