Knock Light works but theres a bug.
after starting up the car, the light keeps on flashing for 5 mins or so
then its gonna vanish.

Also how do you log 1byte load? is it the Load MUT 2byte mod?

Ok think I got the reason its flashing so much at startup.

I never set the variable for flash time in the rom so its probably initialized with max value and thus taking a long time to run time down.

I'll come up with fix to set the variables to 0 on startup

Ok this should stop the cel light from flashing on startup

Hopefully it doesn't stop it entirely or bork the other functions

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=637NZMO2

Be careful when testing had to move a function around or two.

Have you determined for sure your cel is not turning on? Like pulling the maf connector and starting it? That would most definately turn it on as long as you dont have a burnt bulb lol.

Well i "read diagnostic trouble codes" from EvoScan one day and noticed i had a code for "rear 02 low circuit" i dont have a rear 02, and my CEL wasnt on, so im pretty sure the bulb is bad or there is a loose connection back there somewhere

I am not sure if evoscan will read pending codes but like with my scanner reading a pending code means it has the code stored but has not illuminated the cel yet. Just a thought although your probably correct with a malfunction with the bulb whether its bad or loose connection
