HOLY CRAP THAT'S AWESOME. The guy won a while engine for $200. I'd buy an engine like that and rebuild it and have a spare engine when it blows up. GREAT DEAL!

hey sorry to hear bout the blown motor i blew mine racing a supra it only cost me
$1500 to replace mine the install cost more than the motor heh oh on to the next , I ended only losing a few pistons and the Head gasket so its in the process of a rebuild, if you havent gotten a motor yet try Car-parts.com i got a good deal there

thats what happened to me in my maxima......the engine still runs if the gasket isnt completely destroyed...i jsut got some nice smoke out the tail pipe that was blue......and it took me about 8 hours without pneumatic tools to replace the 12 $ gasket. Be careful tho if that happens to be the problem because you may have also bent your cam shaft, jumpedy our timing belt and tapped your rods like i did . I did mine downshifting at about 100 (it wasa v6 and had handeled it before) having some fun witha v6 camaro......got it up to about 120 then things started shaking abnormally.....i got it off the road jsut htinkin it was heating up....drove it home wit ha blown head gasket. you are lucky you stopped right away if this is your problem. the good news is you can prolly replace it yourself if you know how to turn a screw driver.

how do ya know? the only way to tell is turn the motor on again, look at the tail pipe for the smoke, or to tear it apart and look at the gasket. ive blown a head gasket.....if he could drive it after but it lit on fire from the oil leakin out then it very well could be the head gasket......
