nah, all lines are connected, i double checked everything.

when i did get a chance to drive, the hissing seemed to stop for a little. car idles like crap too.

could it be the gasket? not creating a seal?

Sounds like you have a leak between your intake manifold and head, or maybe your injectors aren't sitting in the fuel rail correctly.

grab a can of Brakeleen and spray it generously where the IM connects to the engine. if your car revs up a bit when you do this, you have a leak. make sure your torqued all the bolts down, and the gasket is sitting in there correctly.

yes make sure u check that fuel rail for sure.. i had a similar problem with one of my injectors... in anycase, reset your piggyback and relearn.. take it easy for a hundred miles and idle should be fine.

did you tighten the intake manifold bolts starting from the middle and alternating out?

if you did a bad port job that could also cause it to idle bad.
