It truly is a simple mod to install. You will definitely notice a difference.

So after some issues with Ecuflash, which senate thankfully helped me through, only thing I can say is OMG THIS IS AMAZING! I can finally really take advantage of all my breather mods without the bottleneck up front. I definitely noticed a difference, especially with all my extra goodies like my G93 IM, SRI, and a ported head. Simply amazing. Thank you so much senate. Your lucky I got back to post this lol. If I wasnt on my gas light, I wouldnt stop driving right now. I love this thing.

Is it REALLY that much of a difference or are you playing it up in comparison to the issues you had before?

You've got your entire intact tract covered now except for the throttle body. A 60mm 1G DSM throttle body would go nicely with your mods...

No it really felt alot better. You could definitely notice better throttle response and it seemed to pick up faster. I know I maybe describe things a little overboard sometimes, but I really am pretty happy with the difference. Really is a worthwhile mod considering you can find them for 30-40 bucks on ebay. Definitely helps with future modding. I dont know why mitsu would make that thing so damn small on the lancer in the first place. And yes, I am pretty ecstatic because this is the first time Ive used ecuflash and actually changed values and flashed them to my ecu. So Im feeling pretty accomplished right about now. Plus, that was a free mod for me Oh, forgot to mention, I had a hiccup at the bottom end when I had the lancer MAF on, like a stutter. I know alot of you know what Im talking about as its a common problem with the lancer and can be tuned out. Well that seems to be gone with the addition of this along with the new values in the ecu. It doesnt stutter at all now. I was pretty happy to see that. I am going to have one frankenstein monster vehicle by the time Im done with my plans. Thanks again senate.

i got some logs from before, like earlier this month. i can go out tonight and log some of the new. ive been meaning to do it.

and as imalancerman said, i too felt the hiccup at the bottom end but the new 501 that i have installed smothed that right out, and definatley it helps with my mods and turbo!

Im pretty sure it was trying to suck more air than it was capable of before and now its opened up and is breathing alot better. Just super happy with this mod. I always wondered if there was something we could do with that POS lancer MAF.
