OUTLANDER 03
SEBRING 01-05 (Coupe)
STRATUS 01-05 (Coupe)

After looking through the Mitsu parts lookup last night I realized that the 501 MAF is not limited to 4-cylinder engines. For example, the 501 MAF was used in the 2000-2002 Eclipse GT, which is a V6.
I was reading some posts in the DSM forums and they claim that the 482 MAF from the eclipse GTS or 3.5L Montero can meter air as fast as the EVO MAF, which is around 60-62 lb/min.

So the 399 and the 482 meter faster than the 501.

The 399 MAF was brought up in the first page or two. The problem for NA Lancers is that there are no MAF scaling values for them to go with. It would be alot of trial and error for them to get it right. For turbo Lancers it would be easier because you could use the Evo MAF scaling values as a rough baseline and tune from there. The increase in size between the 399 and 501 MAF is also negligible.

I agree NA lancers would have a harder time tuning for the 399, but I think its a bit overkill for NA.

Does the 399 plug right into our lancers? Like the 501?
