Rare? wow here in IL it is common if you have a chevy with a 305 350 or 387,like me did, it was common to go up to a 4 barrel carb. I drove a 81 Chevy malibu painted in midnight blue it had a 387 stroker in it with a 4 barrel. My dads Mustang had a 4 barrel. Gues it is not that rare around here. I should feel lucky.

also with a quad tb wouldnt you have to install a hood scoop to get maximum air flow..might look like a subaru hood scoop. that would look odd.

RRM leans towards turbocharging from looking at their shop cars. If they do a multiple throttle body setup I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. They have a LOT on their plate from the way things seem.

I cant wait till I can get my quads. Wont beinstalled till Jan 2004 so I am sitting on the sidelines and watching the game to see who drops the ball and who scores a TD.

Setting the money back for the forged pistons this year and next year have enough saved up for a Quad TB . This year the exhaust is going to be totally replaced with the intake tossed out for a short ram, right along with the suspension, antisway bar, adding strut bar and throwing some 17" OZ F1 Cups on my car The EVO style front lip, grill, hood and tailwing will be a nice touch too!

Sorry I was rambling again wasnt I ?

You're in the midwest. That's a different story. I'm in the southeast. I don't expect a lot of 4 barrel carby until hitting the TN or KY border. I don't know about 'bama, just a lot of trucks.

Umm, four barrels are very common. I have one on my impala and pretty much everyone I knew in my home town that had a v8 had one. I don't know why you would run anything else on a v8

almost all v8's have 2 barrel carbs nowadays stock...except performance cars...there is just no need for it from a car manufacturer these days. wastes too much gas.

Pricing for the camshafts and valve springs are the same as the 4G93 SOHC mirage motor. Speak with Visions about pricing. The only difference is teh cam grind which we are trying to find but not having any luck as Mitsubishi has not released any manuels in Australia yet.

If someone in the USA could source either the Mitsubishi specs on teh cam and email it to me that would be a great help as I cannot even buy a new cam yet from Mitsubishi in Australia yet.

Some help here would be great so we can complete the camshaft profiles.
