thats my eventual plan too. just gotta save up a bit more (have kamikaze header now)

yeah, not only does my torque suffer, but up top i hear a "turbo-ish" sound, which makes me feel dumb that i didn't realize this before

Just took my Lancer in this morning to the exhaust shop and had no exhaust leaks. He used the stethescope with tubing thing and didn't find any leaks. Now I can relax at night I am pretty lucky I guess since I didn't replace the gaskets.

No more leak!!! Used a thicker gasket ( One that came with the Buschur downpipe/drilled the bolt holes out a little and fit good.) I had been using Mitsubishi's gaskets. Fired the car up and didn't feel any exhaust leaks, engine bay didn't smell like exhaust. Drove it around and it sounds soo much better, feels like the torque is there, too.
