only mods under the hood are k-bar,hose kit, grounding kits..
and since i dun have any engine mods or wutsoeva, I only use 87 octane..
Average 320+ miles/tank for local/fwy.
Best mileage was 400+ miles/tank which I used up in one day...
hints:
stay between 2500~3000 rpm
ac off
lock in gears all time, avoid cruising in neutral..

i get between 240-300 depending on how i drive and the traffic and stuff. when i'm in bumber to bumber crap in NJ, and get annoyed and usually enjoy hitting corners solid and accelerating out of them, i get around 240. if idid straight highway driving, i get around 300 +
I'm not totally positive, but ever since I installed my RMR intake on monday, I swear I am getting worse mileage than I was before hand. Before I was getting roughly 280 per refill.. When I installed the intake I had about 25 miles into the tank, after intall I've put on about 170 miles and right now my needle is sitting on 1/4 tank... if you do the math thats not 280. Shouldn't an intake improve mileage somewhat because of leaning out the mixture a little more cause of more air? Seems like my car is running rich, but without any signs of running rich.. besides the needle looking like its going lower quicker! Any opinions?
Just got back from NC, drove 294 miles before I had to make the "pit stop" and figured I would fill up at the same time, I was just below 1/2 tank. I was driving between 75-80 mph on the interstate and used 7.68 gallons to fill. This worked out to............... 38.28 MPG. I about **** when I saw that!!! No A/C, just windows down.
I read somewhere that if you are going over 40-45mph, its more fuel efficient to use the A/C due to the drag your car causes when the windows are down... it could be wrong, but I know I did read it somewhere!

I read the same thing. Sounds reasonable.

I think that having a Manual and Having an Auto will give some difference in what type of mileage you will get from your car but i dont think its drastic.....
