What did you do to your Lancer today

I get on here a lot and just realized I haven't really updated what all I have been doing to the car since the last time I painted it. So here it goes:
Over the summer I installed a sri I bought off a local member
but had the unfortunate incident of having my car broken into. They smashed the back passenger window and popped my front passenger door handle off. So went to the junk yard and just got a whole new door for the back and door handle for the front. I pasti - dipped the door white to match the rest of the car. While I was out there in found a gauge cluster to an Oz Rally and went a head and picked it up as well and installed it. So done and done.
Sadly the people did get away with my two 12 inch kicker subs that were in a ported box and a 1000 watt nitro amp. . So i put in some old subs I had and a new boss 800 watt amp. Again done and done.
It's a bit of a roller coaster ride after this. A couple of weeks later I'm driving to pick my gf up and this dude comes out from a stop sign and runs Into me. Tears up my front bumper. Breaks headight, window washer resvoir, bends hood, and fender.
So at this point I'm pretty devastated because I was only about a week and half away from leaving my home town to go back to my college town and I had my car broken into and then an accident. But mitsubishi always prevail. I go the other guys insurance adjuster the next morning and they rght me a check for like 1500 since it was his fault and I go off the the junk yards again. I Find a set of headights, bumbper, fender and resvoir, but more importantly my new prized possession
A carbon fiber evo 7 style hood from vis racing. Only 55 dollars.
Needles to say I was very excited and got it all back together and paint within a couple of days. My brother and I even added hood pins on the back of the hood where it would normally bolt in because we couldn't get it to close straight. But I love it because now I can pop the whole hood off when I'm working on it. I put it on top of the car and just like to see people's reaction when I do it. I also installed a new alternator and belt once I got up to school. So yeah I think that's about it. Another picture for fun though :
Let me know that you think?

Man, that's some awful luck. But hey, everything has a silver lining right? Lol. Looks good man, hopefully u can get that hood straightened out. That's some damn good luck finding on the hood tho. I would love something like that. Hopefully u keep up posting on here. Can't wait to see what else u do to the car man.

this was my star wars friday
This happened as i exited the freeway heading to the mall. i couldnt stop where i was, so i limped to mall shopping center witch was 150 yards away.
So after seeing movie i came to car and got help from a friend who let me use his jack off a prius ( didnt have my oem jack no more ). the rim had no damage on either side at all.
took it to firestone and thy replaced this one and a 2nd tire that was ready to "pop"
didnt realize the tires were tht bad but luckly i wasnt hurt

I'm looking to do this to my Lancer GTS 2010. These are the rims that I have stock already but I want to powder coat them and the calipers. Anyone have their rims or calipers powder coated? Clear coat no clear coat? Any wrong way to do it? Whats a good price? THANKS!

For that color, I wouldn't pay anymore than $300-$400 for a set of wheels. There's a place here in PA that does awesome work and they charge that for black and also mount and balance the tires. I would get them cleared, would hold up a lot better.
Some Evo x gsr wheels would look pretty sweet on that thing. Especially if you powder coated them. I know a guy that has a set ;-)

JDM Evo9 Rear Bumper damaged
i got creamed heading out to get food for my cats last night. short story i stopped to give a chance to a Ambulance ( who was on opposide side of the roadway )with its sirens going to jump median and continue foward cause traffic in front of it was stopped but my light went green and dude behind me hit my car.... and i was at a complete stop too.. ftmfl
car is fine, but bumper has several cracks from the hit.. big one you see here, plus one in the fins on diffuser and crack on left side. his car was undamaged ... i dont think this can be repaired lol...
