Ok, it is now GOING in. My car's chillin' back at BM Tranny getting the clutch, wideband O2 and Vortech FMU installed. I could have easily done the FMU myself, but I couldn't rewrite my fuel map afterwards and the car would have been virtually undriveable.
Anywho, once the WBO2's in I'm going to try running with target AFR's in open loop with a fairly large margin of error and gradually narrowing down the error correction as the ECU develops better averages on the numbers through use. Should be pretty freakin' cool and I don't think anyone's done this before on a Lancer.

For anyone who was awaiting a response, the 1.8l Mirage clutches and pressure plates definitely fit. The thing that does not not fit is the Mirage's throw out bearing.
My favorite quote of the weekend from Keith at BM Tranny:

"It's not a matter of if you're tranny's going to break. With this thing it's a matter of when."
Prolly too gripping for a street car and definitely not too fun to drive. Clutch looks nice though.

Yeah, it's going to be a ***** in traffic. Thanks.
We'll see how it goes. A few people have said it should still not be too bad for daily driving, but I'm expecting the worst. My left leg's gonna be huge.
Worst comes to worst I'll put in a different clutch myself (and hold onto this one) when I have the time and money.
