I haven't had that problem but ever since I saw what happens to people who don't discharge themselfs before pumping gas, I do it every time now when I get out of either of my Mitsubishi vehicles. I have a 94 Mighty Max 4x4 and the 09 Lancer ES.

Mine kinda came and went it was wierd. I was fine for probably a year then WHAM!!! Every stinking time getting out I was getting nailed. Only lasted for a couple months though then nothing again for the past couple years. Dunno what the deal is

Mine only seems to zap me in cooler, drier weather. Most of the year, in Florida, it's very humid, which may be cause the static to not build up as well. As soon as it gets cold out and the humidity drops though... ZAP!
