imo ... what if they just engineered the gts with a "sport tuned suspension" as they advertise and it was designed to pull to the left

rally car alignment specs naturally make the car pull left.
NASCAR specs are similar. But this is still a consumer grade car and I think very few of us have plans to take it to either Talladega or though a WRC course. Cars for the public are designed to drive straight without much intervention. So, screwed up somewhere.

My GTS pulls to the left all the time. Never to the right. Can't just be the roads. Won't a simple alignment job fix this? I might try doing this myself if I can stand the cold weather. I figure I would put the steering wheel straight, lenthen the drivers side tie-rod and shorten the passenger side tie-rod just a small turn each and try driving. Shouldn't this method work?

mine pulls to the left. i can let go of the wheel and take my foot off the gas and it will still go left, even on a crowned road! no shaking though. and its more dramatic when im accelerating hard.

How many people have actually gotten this issue resolved by the dealer? I have no capabilities to fix this myself -- I don't know jack about car suspension / alignment, and even if I did, I don't have the tools or work area.

Has anyone had their dealer switch out cars (Lemon Law)???

Just wondering what the next steps are in order to get this issue taken car of.

All that would do is put your steering wheel a little off to the left when driving straight. The main culprit I suspect is the rear toe throwing off the thrust angle of the car making it pull slightly. I don't trust the machine that i work with on my "on the side" job at this small shop. Has anyone actually had their car aligned by mitsu?

I just got a 4 wheel alignment done yesterday. Pull MIGHT be slightly better... I won't know until I take my normal roads on the commute tomorrow. The wheel is definitely crooked to the right now by a few degrees when going straight. Although as my original post stated, it wasn't technically done by a Mitsu tech.

I have another appointment for tomorrow morning. Mitsu treats their customers good -- I have to pay $25 for a rental car since they won't give me a loner. Total BS.

Mitsu bought my car back, and replaced with a new one. Still have the same issue, but on a much smaller scale.

So, it's been over 3 months. What the Hell is going on with this "petition" that you started? Has it been shown to ? Or have we just been pissing in the wind?

does anyone know which wheel is the one that is off for sure, why not just make an off set adjustment and be done with it.

Put on winter tires last Saturday. No pulling since then. 16" steelies seem to be the answer. LOL. Actually has me thinking of buying smaller summer rims.

I may have an interesting update for the pulling to the left issue . Last nigth i saw one of my long time buddy and he works at Lexus now . I was talking about my new car the few problems it had and espacilly the pulling to the Left . Funny thing Lexus got the same problem on a car . For them the problem was with the stock dunlop SP Sport 5000 that came with the car . On the AWD model it was even worst because the AWD system was trying to correct the pulling so the steering what pulling left and rigth like crazy . To me it makes sense because on my winter tires i have zero problem the car goes straigth . For you guys that have upgraded your wheels have you kept the stock tires too ?

Oh and i must add that when he was working at mazda few years ago he as seen the same problem on the protege 5 , same deal again the car came with dunlop sp sport 5000m

Stock GTS wheels removed, the car drives much straighter now. Weird.
