2008 Lancer Battery Drain

I am having problems with my car battery. There is a parasitic drain on the car battery. When I take out Fuse #30 (30A Fuse) for the IOD the drain stops. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for next in order to find the source of the drain.

Thank you,

My brother in-law has a 2011 Lancer & had the battery drain issue. It was the Blue Tooth component

Heres a thread where an 09, like yours, was doing the same thing

Yes I chased the same issues. Changed Alternator, battery and I'd come back from 2-3 day trip and car was completly dead. Removed bluetooth module and problem went away. It's under glove box. Tucked in behind the airbag. Mine was piping hot when I removed it.

Good Morning,

I was able to remove the Blue Tooth module from behind the glove compartment and I believe that did the trick. I haven't had any issues with the battery drain for a couple of weeks since removing it. Thank you very much for the suggestion it was a huge help.
