The spring may have unsettled...mine did the exact same thing until I jacked both side of the car up off the ground and slowly put it back down...try it...

Hey guys. Even though this sticky isn't getting much love, I didn't want to s**t up the forums with another noise complaint thread (just trying not to be so n00bish). I'm getting some weird, slipping noises on my 03 ES when it goes to 1800-2000 rpms, and only in that range, unless I'm driving on the freeway (which I don't hear it, but most likely due to ambient noise and wind I would guess). It doesn't seem to hinder the performance much, but then I'm really new at cars so I don't exactly know.

Any help would be appreciated, so reply or rather PM me. Thanks guys.

I wanna say there is a groaning sound coming from the engine going around 45, well actually pretty much any speed for that matter. It has recently started to really get on my nerves, and it started doing it awhile back. Any ideas?

I just put in the cam in my car last weekend. It sounds like my lifters knock like crazy accross the head. I opened the valve cover twice and tried to re-torque everything down. No good. Knocks even when warmed up.

What should I do??? Help.

Ok here is my RATTLE... its coming from the passenger side under the hood and just started tonight. I should add that I also bottomed out today and bent the front ride bolts back... everyhing seems to be intact though.

When driving somewhat hard, there is a very distinct rattle/clicking noise coming from the passenger side under the hood....more so under hard left turns... any idea??

Pretty much i just got back from Promotion Tuning where they put my RRM motor mounts on and some brake lines and new cat which was done perfectly but since the second i left there the entire car rumbles for the most part when i have it idle or using first gear. I had them look at it again and they said its the motor mounts doing their job but it seems like its doing to much. When I messed with the throttle it seemed like it could be the clutch or tranny having an affect on the car because looking at the engine it really doesn't move, only when using the pedals does it shake. Another note was that beforehand i had clutch chatter whenever the clutch wasn't engaged which i thought would be stopped with the mounts but it seemed to have made it worse. I really just wanted to see if anyone had any input for what i should do in my situation?

Whenever I'm not turning the wheel, there's a faint "eeeeee" squealing sound at a consistent volume. When I start to turn the wheel, the second that I turn it about 1 degree in either direction it stops until my wheel is straight again. Any ideas?

Alright... I finally got a noise... went a whole year without hearing a thing and it finally happened

There's this noise coming from the engine bay... it's like a tapping sound and it variates with the the rpm's. Low rpm's it's slower... high rpm's it goes a lot faster... any ideas??? I think it might have something to do with the belts... but i'm not sure...

Maybe the tires rub a little when they're straight and when you turn it fixes it... what size tire/wheels are you running?
Or do you have lowering springs or any aftermarket suspension?

Got the same thing too recently. Anybody have any ideas. Checked the whole thread nobody has an answer or even a response.
