IS300 - 4g63 swap build

Update.
I have been working on the car, just have not been posting here. I have posted the updates on facebook, just too busy to make them into my build thread.
First, I made rear lower control arms. On vehicle adjustable. I like how they turned out. Now my rear suspension arms are mostly done.
Next I removed the rear subframe to make solid diff bushings.
I cut out all the old bushings to replace with solid ones. I wil post finished pictures later.
I mounted the seat, and mocked up the pedals. The pedals have a little bit of modifications before they are exactly how I want them. It is a wilwood reverse swing mount set. meaning the master cylinders are in the cabin. no abs, no brake booster. Just 3 master cyl's. 1 for clutch, 1 for front brakes, and 1 for rear brakes. Plans are for a driver adjustable bias crank.
I proceeded on with the racecar maddness by mounting the radiator. In the best location possible. In the trunk. Plans are for air underneath the car (channeled by the flat-bottom and ducting) to travel up and through the radiator. I did this for weight distribution, engine bay packaging, and a little downforce.

With all the fabrication just getting started, I decided to bust out the tubing bender.
You guessed it, roll cage time. I have been waiting for this time for a while. Actually have had the material for almost a year, just needed an uninterrupted weekend to devote to the car. I will let the pictures do the talking for now.
Here is my little secret for welding the top of the cage. This allows the cage to touch the roof of the car when installed, but still have 360 degree welds on the top bars.
The cage is about halfway done. Still a good deal left. If you are curious It is built to NASA and SCCA specs for road racing. Hope this update was big enough. But there is more, I just haven't taken pictures of it.

I haven't done any more engine bay work. The block is at the machine shop currently, but as soon as I get it back, I will be finishing the engine bay work. Honestly, I am trying to finish all the chassis prep stuff before I get the engine back.
And thank you guys for the likes at motormavens.

Wanting a 4 cylinder in an IS and not swapping in a 3S-GE and 6 speed trans from the Jap model is just asinine. The 3S can easily make just as much power as a 4G63 and it bolts right into the chassis. Plus they are only around $1600 from JDM importers.

2) He got alot of parts for the build for free
3) He does his own work and fabrication
4) because its his car and he can.
He mostly has sweat equity into it.
There are a lot easier ways to go faster but its different.
