I am just not a big fan of the sr20. We have one in our shops s14, and it makes 460whp. I just am not a fan, also stroker kits are more expensive than for the 4g63. And the transmissions suck, even the z32 trans, we go through 3rd and 4th gear every other event.

I disagree about the sr being a jdm LS1. SR20 = JDM chevy 350, and 2JZ = JDM LS1

After I wrote that lastnight and was driving home I thought to myself "Man, the 2JZ is the Japanese engine thats in almost everything custom built. Thats more of the JDM LS1.". Touche'

I am one of the few that can say, I removed a 2jz, and installed an ls1, lol.

Today I started on the firewall. Making the new one is already taken longer than cutting the old one.

I am going to have a removable section to access the rear CAS as well as the thermostat housing.

Seems like the valve cover will be a little too close to the firewall. Maybe its just the pictures though.

There is approx. 3.5" between the top of the valve cover and the bottom of the firewall extension

Oh ok it was just the picture then. I was actually referring to the side by the intake manifold but from the top view it looks good.
