Focus RS
I am saying if Ford knows there is an issue with water buildup (dating back to before 2012 on some models), put in the engineering time into solving it. Instead of slapping on a metal plate to "reduce the efficiency of your uber efficient intercooler." I see through the marketing hype.

*epiphany*
"why don't we just block off part of the intercooler?"
"genius! done".
it's really pretty simple. you make it sound like:
"hay guise! our turbo system has a fault.. but let's put it on the car anyway, then develop then entire model around it, because we don't feel like fixing it right now"
"yaaaaaaaaaaaay"
"aw, man... it's working even worse than we thought.. WUT TO DO??!1"
"why don't we just block of part of the intercooler?".
"sneaky! done".
maybe it's all a conspiracy to cover up a horrible engineering mishap and they just got lucky that a little piece of plastic solved it.
I'll side with the people who designed the car over someone like yourself; a person who has admitted they don't like the car and have obviously never seen it. Your argument has shifted over and over again on this simple issue. Now you're alleging some kind of cover up.
I think I might have finally found the edge of the Internet.
I know I shouldn't keep replying to this thread but it's like a really bad b-movie that I can't stop watching.

Can you select individual settings for different components in RS? It has 4 drive modes, but what if I want for example suspension in full soft and esc full off? Normal mode gives soft suspension, but esc on. And track mode gives esc in sport mode, but suspension in hard mode.
Or do you buy into Ford's OEM intercoolers being so much better than everyone else's as the cause.

So its just a coincidence that when you google "intercooler condensation" you get tons of posts from Ford ecoboost and TDI owners? It doesn't make you at all curious why Ford seems to have this issue, while other manufacturers do not?

Been heavily considering either or as of late. The Golf R with the DSG ran an 11.7 with bolt ons and a tune.... I don't care who you are, you have to admit that's a sexy time.
The Focus RS looks primed to give you a nice chubby with the rear end sliding around. Things are looking up for Ford as of late.
