This is the only car on my radar at the moment to possibly replace the Evo. I think I'll end up waiting for the 2ng gen used so I got a couple of years (especially to wait until my first kid is out of college).

I don't think this vid has been posted yet...
sound a bit better here, but still a little blenderish... I think removing the cat will do wonders for this car sound wise

- That was a hillclimb?????? Where was the hill??
- Exhaust sounds lame.
- I wonder if this is stock configuration.
- agreed
- this isn't really a competition event, more like a look at this cool thing I have event.. so I think its stock
Cars rarely sound decent on video. It's always raspy, especially four-cylinders. Especially in-car.
This one is horrible LOL
I'm assuming it sounds better in person.
Yup. Still want one.

Rob, did you ever test drive te focus rs. I am really excited for the car, not that I want to buy it. But I am excited for it as a car enthusiast. I am hoping to see a review comparing both cars awd system.
Focus rs awd doesn't look bad, but does it provide driver enough confidence as my evo does?

I have driven the FWD somewhat tuned up version and the older awd Escort cossie.
I love they way they sound, and the whole car. I like the look (wide body) etc.
Only thing is all of them do under steer a lot. FWD we know why , but even the old awd with Rally set up did a lot more then the Evo in stock form.
For sure will give you confidence, tires and the technology is there by the infos we got. So i wouldn't worry about that. Even the FWD RS had a good driver feel as soon as adjusted myself for the FWD drive train.
They promise this will be a lot different hence almost rwd at some settings.
So i am really looking forward to drive one. I love the RS from ford, been always one of my favorite car.

they label it as a hill climb... but what ever LOL
I am guessing they labeled it as a hillclimb because they do run it as a hillclimb race. Regardless they have a hill or not.
BUt that is just a guess of mine.
