Focus RS

I'm not saying ford (or any of the manufacturers) should not be striving for the last ounce of performance,
but at some point with enough tech, it is going to price the "poorer" guy out of the market for good (talking older used car).
Can you imagine attempting a home diagnose and fix of all these systems, which are now completely integrated together,
on a used 10 year old car you bought for some street fun or to "budget" racing. Hopefully the built in diagnostics
are spectacular and/or available to use for the car owner.

True, I don't want one of them either. .............

I'll bet the clutches in the haldex and the rear diff last a long time. Wet clutches are very robust. Just like you don't really hear about the ACD clutch wearing out in the Evo unless it gets towed with one end of the car on the ground. You may develop leaks, but I'm sure there are pressure sensors everywhere to give pretty good codes to at least get a general idea of what's leaking.

I guess Europe hasn't been told it's a Ford yet then.
Previous RS models still demanding high resale values. Wish I could afford a Boss 429 Mustang. Darn Fords

I can't believe they're actually trying to pass this. It's already hard enough bringing your car in to the dealer to get something fix under warranty without them acting like there's absolutely nothing wrong...
Wut? The controversial proposed changes are with respect to copyright law and whether it applies to car ECU software.
