Focus RS
As a long time Ford of Europe fan I'm pretty eager to see this car stateside. I've driven a few Cosworths and they were the reason I my first car was a Merkur XR4Ti. Yeah, I know - they brought nothing of the Cosworth with that car lol
Focus RS price leak is making it's way around the interwebz. 35,730 base. ~41k optioned out.

edit- id just get the base trim, no need for a moonroof or premium forged wheels. So 35k is not bad at all, over 40 no way
If this ends up being accurate, it'll be priced pretty competitively to the what I've seen. Golf R is 36,595. Sti is 34,695. Evo is 34, 495.
Overall, pricing is about what would be expected, and reasonable. Still, $40k for a hatch... Oi.
and GR STi's was also a hatch that was 40k...
going off that pic prolly not all 18's... some wheels have a smaller barrel than others so they may not have enough clearance
The Focus ST3 (402A package, think it was 202A before) was something like $29k for a decked out, sporty car that was still practical. Made a lot of sense.
$40-42k for a Focus RS is suddenly real close in price to the Mustang GT and a slew of other sports cars. Different mission, maybe not AWD, but really changes the value proposition... for me at least.
I still think it's a kick *** car and I hope Ford sells a ton of them.
Agreed, but...
