345/324 they're upping the game now. If they can drive as well as on paper then the X, STi and Golf-R will have some works to do. Wait.. The X not need to do anything as it won't exist anymore. Sad isn't it.

IMO, the Sti really needs to do something spectacular in it's next update to keep people interested, overheating issues, cracking ring lands with just a tune, same stagnant power figures while everything else closes in our surpasses it, blah design... It's just not stayed ahead of it's competition, unless you count out living the Evo as a win.

The Golf has the R400 concept but, that thing will probably be in the high $40s if it gets made at all and if it makes it to the US.

If the thing is halfway decent to drive I think Ford is going to have a run away success with this car.

Sure, if people don't mind the price going up. Subaru fans are loyal and will keep buying.....as long as they can afford them.

Supposedly Subaru is testing an STI with the new engine series in it. That's off-topic though.

Focus ST's sounds the same/similar with an aftermarket exhaust. Since they have the same cylinder head with integrated exhaust mani design, I don't think there is much hope..

So true.....Sound is always a customizable aspect.

So glad Ford went 2.3 for the torque boost. Was one of the things I enjoyed most when I swapped out the 2.0L for a 2.4L in the Evo RS.

Now we wait to find out how much the 345 hp will have to tote around. 3400 lbs or less would be a pleasant surprise.

Now I am sure SRT Dodge and Chevy will follow with their own countering brands.

He must have done at least two separate laps because most, if not all of the exterior footage shows the car without the Go Pro attached to the driver-side window.

I only skimmed the article, but am I the only one who finds that this statement is wrong?

you make a sharp left turn. During this process, the right rear wheel will be the fastest spinning one among all the 4 wheels.
The rear left, not right, wheel will be spinning fastest since it's behind the turning wheels and on the inside of the turn, no?

Outside rear tire spins fastest. It has the longest path..
