Right but JB recomends pairing the 04 RS Non ACD case with the helical front LSD. Just because you never had any problems, does not mean the ACD system is bulletproof.

That's not what he's saying. He's suggesting that you're blowing the issue way out of proportion, as usual.

I was commenting on his above remark. Plenty of people have experienced ACD problems, even on stock hp street driven cars.

Well this thread alone has 536 posts https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...es-merged.html

So I am guessing more than 2 or 3.

When JohnBradley recommends a Non ACD with the helical front LSD, I listen.
JohnBradley as in Aaron from English? but he doesn't really do any lapping days, just drag racing... Although Locus got into lapping days a couple years ago, I don't know if he's still doing it

OK, sort through all 536 posts to see how many people had ACD failure that was linked to tracking the car.

Na, we can just go with the "my ACD hasn't broken so therefore the Evo's ACD never brakes" theory instead

*Breaks. I'd hope Evos can brake.

Nice job dodging the issue though.

You made the allegation, back it up. You can't walk away after posting a giant thread and demand people read it all, something that you didn't do, to dispute your claim.

I already posted a couple threads of people have ACD issues.

Look its pretty simple, the ACD systems is more complex than the non-ACD version. Things like the ACD pump have been known to fail. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...merged-36.html

Heat is an agent of destruction and track use makes stuff hot. Plenty of people go through the effort and expense of removing ACD.

If you want more than that, I suggest you ask JohnBradley (Aaron from ER) why he recommends non-ACD. I bet you the answer is "because its more reliable."

You posted a giant mega thread. That doesn't mean that ACD is a significant issue, it means on a forum with tens of thousands of members, some have had issues.
