Civic Type R
Even the Focus RS and CTR customers won't give a crap about 22 seconds on an 8 minute lap, especially when they're two very different cars. I wouldn't buy the CTR because I live where we get several feet of snow overnight; a low-slung FWD track special isn't much fun in a Canadian winter.
On the other side, I don't think the RS is attractive if you live in Arizona and never have to worry about traction.
I have no idea what you mean by:
"i kind of remember about you def, talking seconds on track between cars very strongly lol what happenned?".

Even Hyundai Gen Coupe had brembos f/r on their track package.
How about the steel rear suspension arms on the Type R?
What about the electric e-brake?
what about the 0-60 time?
What about it weighing approx 200 lbs more than the Civic SI? Or 100 lbs plus more than a GTI?
Literally the only thing people have whaaammmbulanced about are the looks of it.
Serious cognitive dissonance going on...

personally don't really care all that much, it didn't really bug me on the RS either. I don't think you can find forged aluminum arms on any fwd car (could be wrong)
What about the electric e-brake?
its BS and who ever invented it should burn in hell
what about the 0-60 time?
I haven't cared about 0-60 times since I started driving. I do like to hit 60 in 2nd gear though, anyone know if the CTR is capable of this?
General off the line performance I don't really care about either since I don't really race like this. Even when I had a Mustang with its live rear axle and all, I only took it to the drag strip once.

extra weight blows... 200lb is a lot over the Si, I'm curious where they found it. the 1.5L engine can't be 150lb heavier than the 2.0 can it? I can see 50 or so between the bigger wheels/brakes and wing.
Per hondas site, 211 lbs heavier than the SI:
2017 Honda Civic Type R (4dr) :
Curb Weight: 3117
Weight Distribution: 61.8%/38.2%
2017 Honda Civic SI (4dr) :
Curb Weight: 2906
Weight Distribution: 60.3%/39.7%
I believe the Type R even has an aluminum hood?
