got nothing but part time now haha. Went and looked at the jeep tonight. Going to buy it and keep it. Good deal for sure. Not exactly what I want but for the price, it will more than work. Its a perfect weekend beater. For once, not nice enough to care about if it gets scratched up. That's what I need.
Hey hey hey. I was going to say I dont own any Japanese cars but then I remembered I still have the Evo haha.
Picked up the Jeep and Cobalt yesterday. I am done buying anything else until I sell some cars! My house looks like a used car lot now. Sure my neighbors love me....
Took the Supra out for another weekends worth of racing. Different event this time. One day of normal auto-x, one day of head to head elimination battles. Supra did really good. Made it to the final elimination round. Ended up 8th out of 75 cars. Seriously cant wait for wheels, tires and suspension.
Tirerack is confusing. Says it can be delivered tomorrow 7/21 but also has 7 available 9/4/21. Discount Tire is also confusing, says special order and usually ships in the next 7 business days.
I ordered the tires from Discount Tire about a month ago. Originally said they would be in on 7-18. When I talked to them again yesterday, thats when they said at a minimum 2 more months. So I think the 9-4 date is pretty accurate.
I asked them about the 285-30s and they said they wont sell them to me cause they are a 93 load tire and my car calls for a 95 load. Its a 90lb load difference....

call from a different number and tell them its for some other car... then cancel your 275 order. or try buying the 285 from tire rack
although 285/30 is a pretty short tire, almost a full inch shorter than 275/35... is that gonna cause any issues with ABS or other car electronics?

I actually think it would be a better match than the 275. Stock tires are the same profile # front and rear. But at that, they are going to be about an inch shorter overall than my current setup. I can program in the tire sizes front and rear so that the ECU knows and shouldnt freak anything out.
