Mk V Supra - My Evo's Replacement?
I was just looking for these. My guy at DTC said ALL of their sources show zero. I ended up ordering a set of Goodyear Supercar3 (same tires on the SS 1LE camaro), it was one of the few tires in stock.
Great, another source to conclude i am screwed.... like you, I think its time I look into something different if i want to make it to another race this year.... I think my choices are going to come down to, a lot more $ or a not as good tire.
I'll be interested in your thoughts on the SC3 after you get some miles on them.
@Lumpy Sticks
I saw on IG that Monrovia Alignment sells RT-660 tires now. They probably won't have the size you need, but it worth a shot.

I am almost tempted to just get some 615k+s to hold me over. Looks like those are back in stock now and are considerably cheaper.
They have been around for a while, at least the first design was. I know they aren't going to be a very competitive tire but they are a decent tire that will last a while. The ones on my Evo have gone through 147 auto-x laps and 5000 street miles. Not much tread to spare but they lived a good life.
I haven't used Falken since using 215s on my ITR. I wasn't aware they made anything decent.
Is there no better option? Falken stepped their game up that much?

Not ready to take the Supra on a big track yet. Need to do a couple more things first. Cones will have to do for now.
its a question of is the better option worth the amount of extra money if you are just racing for fun? I am competitive but don't race trying to win. There are only 2 rules for my class. No full tube frame, 200tw tires. Let's just say most people in my class have over 100k in their car....

I mean if buying new tires doesn't really help.
