Tell me this isn't pure luck. First off, its a t-bolt clamp (blew around 24 psi). Second, how the heck did it even get stuck like that!? And it stayed there for 2 miles as I finished my venture home.
I must have hit my head or something because I’m starting to get more interested in them. I still can’t stand the front, but everything else looks sexy.
The more I read about them, the more it seems they are very capable with just light mods, which is what I am after in my next car.
Plus, I’ve never really owned a “proper” sports car and I ain’t get any younger…
I am still loving the car. I havent been back to the track since I got the wheels and tires to test it out but all my mountain runs say its a huge difference. Still have some springs I need to slap on it one of these day too which everyone says helps with camber (since its non adjustable). It really is nice to just be able to hop in the car and go without having to worry about anything.
The one thing I dont like about it is the tuning options as of right now. I have 0. The only thing I can do is a piggyback system which I dont like. You as a tuner understand. Trick the ECU to see less boost while not adjusting timing or fuel.... ya not my thing. There is an ECU update going around right now that is supposed to extra lock people out from being able to tune it. Supposedly the early models that you can tune are getting locked out as well. That will be verified in the next week or two.
What part of the front dont you like? Have you seen one in person yet? I think the car looks very different in person than in a picture. Its hard to capture all the curves in a flat picture.
