You are not getting a CF at sticker.... no way. And can you really justify the extra $? Only positive is the resale value, if you are even considering that.

After sleeping on it, I agree. My reasoning yesterday was with all the markups, the CF isn't that much more than the Premiums. However, even at MSRP, with tax, we are talking about a $70k Supra. Which is a lot for a car I literally stated earlier should be more like a $45-50k car.

Also, would be kind of stupid to buy a CF model and mod it.

So... the hunt continues. I am looking for White, Grey, or Silver premium.

Base C8 Corvette has a lower MSRP than the CF Supra.

C8 doesn't have the modding headroom of a Supra, but it comes with more power (with full warranty) and bigger tires from the factory. I also prefer that DCT over the 8-speed auto in the Supra (yes, I know it's good, but DCT still wins in my book).

C8 MSRP is unattainable plus I personally absolutely hate the looks of the new C8. Proportions are all wrong to me. I also don't own enough white New Balance sneakers and Corvette racing hats to own a vette.

There are apparently a few Chevy dealers left who will play ball at MSRP, but finding any popular car at MSRP is probably going to be difficult for a while.

I didn't like the C8 look at first but they grew on me in person. The C8 Z06 looks even better, IMO, but that won't be cheap.

That LT6 looks pretty sweet on paper.

To me, they look like a box truck. The front is all nice and sporty.. then the rear looks like a 2x4 block of wood or something. It's almost like they got lazy after designing the first half

As ugly as the car is the Z06 sounds like a riot. I did a quick search and there are NO spots on any reservation lists that I can find. That and they all clearly state "pricing will be at market value". $200k Corvette, anyone?

I'd buy a GT4 before the vette for sure. Same price range.

they had to make space for those 2 golf bags... to me the rear looks a bit like a Testarosa which I was never a fan of, but a little curvier and edgier

I dont like the C8s. Seen many in person in all different colors. I think silver looks the best but still not great. Like Kaj, I cant get over the rear.... They dont seem to be good at auto-x either but I know thats not what they were designed for.

Seems they need a bit of work for dry autox, but in the wet my buddies was absurdly good.

I both like/dislike the C8. But If I was getting a corvette Id still rather have a C6 z06 or GS and mods.

The supra is just proving to be really good though. Responds so well to mods.

Yea, was looking at C7 Grand Sports too, I just don’t think I can do a vette. Plus, I would probably get divorced. Lol

I turned 40 this year so close enough?

Old dudes rarely have the high spec ones and can usually be picked out by the chrome wheels. Be wary of the blacked out vettes, probably sporting a couple spooly-boyz

I'm pretty sure 50yrs is minimum. And if I had $1 for every blacked-out car I saw in my town, I wouldn't have to work. LOL
