The more stock your car is, the more you are the reason it's faster. Makes sense why folks would downplay the level of modification to the car. Then there are folks that just want to have an edge, and keep their recipe to themselves.

I mean sure, but it all comes crashing down when you see that 150mph on the front straight and know there's no way its stock... or better yet see the car in person and the modified parts are right there in plain sight... then you're just a pathetic liar...

I mean if there's some sort of competition, sure, but this is just track days...

looks like Vorshlag camber plate, are the upper spring mounts part of the MCS shock package or did that come from someone else? plans for helper springs?

All from Vorshlag, which btw, their communication sucks.

I dun need no helper springs. Going on as is, except I am going to swap the rear springs from 850 down to 700 while I learn the car.

so I'm not familiar with the Supra suspension so decent chance I'm talking out of my a$$ here, but without helper springs (and stiff main springs) you'll generally end up with either monster truck ride height or a loose spring in droop. is the geometry on the Supra such that this isn't the case?

edit:
not questioning you, just curious

welp, I spoke too soon.

I can't even get any preload on the rear springs because the collars run out of threads.

Vorshlag also didn't send me the endlinks I payed for. So far I am a big nope with Vorshlag.

seams to me like its just too short of a spring and/or needs a helper spring... Vorshlag being non-responsive and missing part of the order sucks though... although it is Friday, maybe they went home for the weekend already?

that being said whoever put them together at vorshlag should have caught the spring being to short... so thats definitely on them

They have been non-responsive through the whole process. On the phone they where great, but after I placed the order, not so much. Big bummer, and yes, how the hell did they not catch this when putting them together?

I even asked them on the phone before ordering them why it didn't need helper springs and they said it didn't need them. The hell it doesn't.

I would just get longer springs but I am going to put them on the car to see what kind of tire clearance I have first.

Well that sucks... I've always thought they were a standup shop. I've always been of the opinion that service should get better once you give someone your money, you go from being a tire kicker to an actual customer. Never understood businesses that have done it the other way around.

if you put them on to check tire clearance you should also be able to see if a helper spring will be required or if you can just get away with a longer spring. That being said a helper spring will definitely solve the problem and its cheaper and more droop travel is a good thing. then again vorshlag should be providing the longer spring on their dime.
