Mk V Supra - My Evo's Replacement?
Surely there is some sporty BMW seat one could swap in that would play nice with the safety system?
Maybe something like this?

disclaimer: I'm pretty ignorant about most things BMW, so I'll admit what seems reasonable to me could be a fairy tale in reality.

If this was a daily I would probably go for the Sportsters.
@kaj
Called it, I *knew* you would mod it with camber plates.
hahah so much for not modding the Mustang that “has everything you need already”
lmao

or, if the fact that I bought aftermarket instead of another set of OEM then you win that one too.You got me.

Side note: you should see pictures of what the tires look like without the camber plates installed. It's brutal lol
I have had as many domestics as imports, but never a Ford other than an SVT Contour a while back (which was great). I've owned two 6th gen Camaros and have had my 4th gen for 25 years, so the GT350 is kind of a switch to the dark side for me. I kind of like the fact that I can both downplay the car when I want and call it "just a Mustang", but it also is an attention magnet for car enthusiasts and other Mustang owners. When I drove the car off the lot, another orange S550 Mustang happened to drive by as I was waiting to turn and his passenger SCREAMED out the window "LOVE YOUR CAR!!!". That made me smile. Orange is kind of the opposite of leadfoot gray, but I'm used to bright color attention from my bright yellow S2000 (aside: did you see that a yellow CR just sold for $122k on BaT--crazy!). My white Evo is the most tame looking car in the garage!
Looking forward to tracking mine, but cringing at the cost of a Simpson Hybrid S since I can't use my HANS in a stock seatbelt. The tires are also shockingly expensive. Oh well. Pay to play I guess.

I'm running the Schroth QuickFit Pro. It's amazing.
orange is my fave color but I didn't have the option. Chicks in their 20s are really digging this car. That's weird AF to me.
I have the Shroth Quick Fit Pro. It's awesome

I've driven hundreds of hours in a Racetech 4009, usually after 4-5 hours I'll toss a hoodie behind me for some lumber support. Race seats in a street car aren't all that bad, the worst part is getting over the bolsters to get in or out.
I had a Brey Krause seat bracket in my E46 that allowed a race seat to be used with the factory electric slider setup.
