Corolla GR-FOUR
Our motor not only will have more HP but also more torques (as Clarkson used to say...), which should make up for the perceived weight penalty. From C&D: "Toyota GR Yaris and its turbocharged three-cylinder engine that delivers 257 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque wasn’t coming to America. At the time it was said to be the most powerful production three-banger in the world, but Toyota's Gazoo Racing has significantly upped the ante to an even 300 hp and 273 pound-feet for the just-announced Toyota GR Corolla "

Tried to put a deposit down on one today..... my sales guy pretty much said don't bother. Even though actual pre orders don't exist, the line to get on the pre orders does. He said there are already a couple hundred people per dealer signed up so don't expect to get one (without a crazy markup) for a long time. Back to the 86 for now it is. He said those can be had in a couple months.

The new 86 looks great too. Much prefer it over the new Subaru BRZ. Updated interior is way better too!
I befriended a fellow track guy / instructor at the last couple track events I went to out here. He has a new Toyota 86 with just suspension, wheels/tires and brembo brakes from the last gen and that little thing is fast on track. I'm honestly kind of thinking I should have done the 86 instead of the Supra now. lol

Get rid of that Evo and get a 86 to put in its place.
We shall see how the supply chain issues go. Probably will push back US deliveries.
