Corolla GR-FOUR
if you watch the playlist of the vid I posted in post 61 they show the dyno screen a bunch of times throughout the series at different power levels
Found a torque curve but its with their big turbo setup. Based on the video 500 Nm is the torque limit they dont want to cross. If google converted that correctly then thats 369 ft - lbs.

1500 Circuit Editions (the one that people actually want) and ~5000 base is all they're selling for 23 MY. I expect heavy markups, Toyota announced they have no interest in producing more as they feel it would make the car less special or something to that tune. They're also only building the CE for 23, none for 24 and beyond. My guess is CE at 60-65k and base at 45-50k after markups.
Personally, I'm a big fan. But until the market settles, I'm not going to even bother.
The Yaris does make good noises though, I expect the Corolla wouldn't be much different
Honestly, **** this mentality. If you want to make money, go buy stocks or crypto. Let people enjoy cars who actually want to use them.

more to the point if you're just thinking about it now you're late to the party. someone's posted above that their local dealers have lists so long they're not even taking anymore, I called a few of my local dealers and its the same story. Pretty sure its the same for every single Toyota dealer in the country. so unless you have a hookup, you're not getting one.

I dont think i would even want it if its too rare and being driven by snobby types. probably dedicate myself in beating it in events lol

Not trying to be an ***, but people who buy enthusiast models with the intention of flipping for a profit are a large reason why the enthusiast market is dying. The market has changed and shrunk so much over the past decade. Everything has become about money and nobody even cares about pursuing something they're passionate about if it won't make them money.
I may have just found someone who is willing to let me have their #11 spot on the reservation list.... Waiting to hear back from my buddy at my local dealer before I commit to the other guy.

I know 11 and 18 sound like low numbers, and I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but realistically if you're not under #5 you prolly aren't getting one... maybe if you're 6 or 7 at a high performing dealer thats gonna get a couple more allocations... if there are 6600 of these being made, there are 1500 Toyota dealers in the US, that works out to 4.4 cars per dealer
and the likelihood of people dropping out is basically zero. even if someone decides they don't want it they'll still buy it and flip it for a profit. Unless they back out cause the dealer is putting a massive markup on it but then you'd have to pay that massive markup as well.

no worries man. even the automarkers are chasing profits hence why everyone is cranking out Suv's. But seeing Toyota come out with 3 enthusiast cars is why i want a toyota for my next purchase and support them.
I've been lurking your supra thread and low been looking for one ever since. Would you be keeping the Supra?
