Yes apparently this is the third. They hit the first one at 300 HP. The Next at 310HP and now one at about 335 HP. The have found the code in the ecu twice before and have successfully rewritten it. They say it is just a matter of time as they have software engineers working 24-7 on it. They have contacted Getrag and confirmed that the HP and Tq output of a FQ-360 is well within the limits of the SST. If you read the about section of their website http://www.wrcdevelopments.com you will see that they where heavily evolved in the FQ series development in the UK and evolved in the mapping of the FQ evo x series. They have a manual x with the map and mods of a FQ-360. Will no more tomorrow as this is when it is scheduled.
ibarkovic I respect your opinion but have you driven them both back to back ?

Can you shed some light on what "people" you talked too? Being that the car hasn't been released in the U.S...was it engineers involved in the design, or SST owners in overseas markets?

Take it easy buddy. The man says he talked to some people and they said it's dum. That's good enough science for me.

Sorry just for interest I put my G-Force Pro on it and it ran 0-100 KPH 5.38 sec Before (sport mode) and 4.91 sec afterwards. I all so did a run to 130 KPH and that came up in 8.46 before and 7.21 afterwards. Very happy with the improvement

Great info NZEvox,

So, just to clarify.....the ECUTEK tuning is all you have done to achieve 330WHP?

To clarify I put a ralliart inlet kit on it just before I drove it down to get chipped. did not notice anydifference. .
It has 330 HP at the flywheel. Not at the wheels. They can tune the manuals to get more but they get error codes if they go any further on the sst's ,so for the moment that is as far as they like to go. But on the positive side and reading between the lines. They have an sst with 360 hp 360 Tq doing road testing and a kit should be ready for release very soon (1-2 months). Because the person here in N.Z is doing the mapping for the Fq series in the UK I basically have exactly what the fq330 series is getting in the UK.
So to sum it up I currently have a FQ330. I have a ralliart pipe kit
and a HKS exhaust on order, a quick rewrite and hey presto FQ360.
