how spirited have you driven yet? any problems with overheating? a little disconcerting when the mitsu training videos talk about how you have to park the car and open the hood when the SST overheats. try a few launches back to back and tell us if it overheats hey, someone's gotta be the guinea pig and us yanks don't have the SST yet

are the clutches on the SST available for replacement? Or is it a sealed - non serviceable unit?

May take advantage of this when I get the ECU done.
The fuel consumption rate is predictive .. when you change between the different modes .. your rpm shifts all changed .. that's why the consumption changes ..

But man the S-Sport really took me offguard !!
As long as you're below redline, you'll never upshift in full auto!!!

Seriously needs some things to make it fast .. Tom from ETS is helping though .. just wish he works faster !!!!

Don't know if this has been brought up, but when on a hill at a stop, does the car still move back when in 1st, like a manual would? Or does it just stay in place like an auto?

OK .. when you're stationary in D.. the clutch is engaged ONLY WHEN THE BRAKE IS OFF .. at least it feels so .. when you release the brakes, you can feel a slight delay before the car creeps forward .. so I was wrong previously when I said the clutch is being slipped when you brake ..

I can confirm that the clutch slightly engages when put into drive. Much like an auto. But as soon as you put your foot on the brake it dis-engages, Take your foot of and it re-engages. I have given it a few hard starts in a row and no sign of over heating.
When I start modifying it this will most likely change

Is it true that you can't put the car in S-SPORT shifting mode unless the car is in Park? Or can you change shifting modes on the fly while driving?

I am afraid you do have to be in either neutral or park. I will be asking the ECUTek rep if he can fix that.

Is this for changing into any mode, or just the S-SPORT mode?

You only have to be stopped. Other than that, yes, you can do it in park, neutral, or drive. I did it numerous times in drive. The two other modes can be changed on the fly

I rolled back just barely when i was stopped on a hill. Didn't test to see if it would catch though as I was just moving on
